Kimball Library News 3/15/24

WRITER’S STUDIO FOR ADULTS: Friday, March 22nd 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Join us for a morning of self-expression and creativity. All writing styles and abilities are welcome. This gathering will allow you to engage in creative writing while exploring your literary style. At the next gathering, we will reflect on our life roles and the underlying values that support us in sustaining these unique roles. As we reflect, we will also begin the process of storytelling. This is an opportunity to express your life experiences and events. These life events are the stepping stones to uncovering your natural talents.

All creative supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring a writing journal or other supplies that inspire and support your creativity.

Instructor, Donna Quinn Corriveau, Direct Support Professional, enjoys engaging with local organizations to share creative and self-expressive programs or activities. As Donna states, "I believe self-expression represents the highest form of joy."

DISCOVERY STORYTIME (AGES 3-6): Wednesdays, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM

Pre-K friends ages 3-6 (and their caregivers) are encouraged to join us for some tactile fun, stories, finger plays or actions songs, and crafts. We'll have several stations set up with fun activities that will build on our fine motor and other skills. We might get a little messy in this class, but that's part of the fun! Registration is required.

TIME FOR BINGO FOR BOOKS! (K-5): Thursday, March 28th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM

Have your listening ears ready to hear your numbers being called! It's always fun to win and go home with some books that are new for you.

Register to make sure you have your place in the game! Mom or Dad can always help you play.
