 JACKIE’S NO FEAR PAINTERS ARTWORK ON DISPLAY UNTIL OCTOBER 25TH

Jackie Cunningham has been teaching oil painting since she retired as a way to share her gift. Over the years, many people in the area (and outside it) have joined her for a two-hour weekly class.

This exhibit showcases local artists, past and present, who have come together for fun, friendship and to fulfill their passion for oil painting.

LITTLE GROOVE MUSIC (BABIES TO AGE 5): Friday, October 18th at 10:15 AM

Children ages 3 months to age 5 and their caregivers are invited to join us for a toe-tapping good time. Little Groove Music will visit the Kimball Library to introduce your little ones to music and instruments with this very special program. Registration is required.

Little Groove music classes offer a unique and engaging experience for children. Through the use of sound, sight, and touch, toddlers and preschoolers are able to learn and interact in a live music setting.

The classes are designed to help children build important motor, social, cognitive, and language skills through catchy songs and the use of real instruments such as drums, maracas, and tambourines. The classes also incorporate interactive props such as puppets, balls, stacking cups, and a large parachute. Little Groove music classes are the perfect way to introduce your child to the joy of music and learning.

CRAFT, PAINT & COLOR: Mondays from 12:30 – 2:30 PM

Come unwind, de-stress and create every week. Individuals come together to dabble in painting, coloring or creative crafts using oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and pencil. Individuals bring their own supplies and work on canvas, wood, sketchpads and coloring books. Group size will be limited and registration is required.

Research shows that creative activities help you relax. This is an open time so feel free to stay the entire time, leave early or come late. Remember this is a no stress event so if you only have 30 minutes to spare than spend it relaxing with fellow creative art enthusiasts. Registration is not required for this event. Stop in at any point during the program hours and leave when you need to.
