Kimball Library News 8/24/2020

We are so happy to see many of you coming back ‘home’ to Kimball Library. We appreciate all the cooperation with wearing masks covering your noses, maintaining social distance, and having brief purposeful visits. Hats off to the most wonderful community of patrons!

As a reminder, for those of you who are not ready to step inside we continue to have ‘take out’ service available. Just give a call when you are on your way and we will leave your items on a table between the two front doors.

BEDROCK GARDENS: We are excited to add Bedrock Gardens to our Library Museum Pass Program. This 37-acre property was once a dairy farm, which the founders of Bedrock Gardens repurposed into a garden. The garden includes many structural elements such as paths, an espaliered fence, architecturally interesting rocks, pergolas, fountains, water features, a Japanese teahouse, whimsical garden art and two miles of woodland trails. The beds also have a range of plant varieties and unusual specimens of perennials, trees and shrubs designed to immerse you into the relaxation benefits of being in nature. A three-quarter-mile circulation path connects each garden "room” with vistas along the way. Garden rooms are connected with broad paths, and are filled with interesting structures, unusual plants and captivating landscape design elements.

Open 10:00 - 4:00 Tuesday - Friday and the 1st and 3rd full weekends of the months June through October. Reserve your pass today!
