Pay close attention and you might solve this. On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention. Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule. Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess. Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing. Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher. And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High's notorious gossip app.
Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention Simon's dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn't an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he'd planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who's still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.

T/WEEN BOOK CLUB: The book of the month is Family Game Night and Other Catastrophes by Mary E. Lambert.
Annabelle has a secret . . . a secret so big she won't allow friends within five miles of her home. Her mom collects things. Their house is overflowing with stuff. It gives Annabelle's sister nightmares, her brother spends as much time as he can at friends' houses, and her dad buries himself in his work. So, when a stack of newspapers falls on Annabelle's sister, it sparks a catastrophic fight between their parents--one that might tear them all apart--and Annabelle starts to think that things at home finally need to change. Is it possible for her to clean up the family's mess? Or are they really, truly broken? Mary E. Lambert's moving and heart-breakingly funny debut novel about the things we hold dear--and the things we let go--will resonate with anyone whose life has ever felt just a little too messy.
Join the most chill t/weens and chat with us about this book on February 2nd at 6 PM. Copies are available for check-out. We serve candy and the coolest conversation. Register yourself and your bestie.
LAUNCHPADS: Launchpads tablets are an innovative and fresh way to bring fun and educational games to children. The pre-loaded content and no internet connection means that learning is self-directed; your child is free to go at their own pace and pursue the concepts that holds their interest.
Pre-loaded with content for kids and tweens, launchpads are designed with a simple, easy-to-use interface, and 100% secure. Access to powerful content is as simple as turning on each device — anytime, anywhere.
STEAM is a key focus in our Launchpad selection. Understanding science and engineering concepts in particular, are increasingly important to introduce to children at a young age so that they can better apply them at school. The games and puzzles included in these Launchpads prompt children to think in new and creative ways. We are hopeful that Launchpads will promote resilience and a love of learning. We have chosen a variety of content for toddlers through children in middle school.
The acquisition of the Launchpads was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the New Hampshire State Library. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to lend these exciting, fun educational tablets to our youth! Drop by to see them on display and check one out.
