T/weens are invited to give back to the less fortunate by
knitting and crocheting with us on Mondays from 3-4:30 PM. Projects to make and
give away may include bunnies knit from squares, hats, sweaters, booties, or
squares to contribute to baby blankets. If you already know how to knit or
crochet, bring your needles and yarn. If you are new to the craft, come
empty-handed so we can tell you what to bring next time and how to get started.
Register t/weens once and their names will stay on for the summer. Please drop us a line or a quick call on weeks they will be away or not participating.

OUT OF THIS WORLD CRAFT: Make a flying saucer and
you're off to another planet in minutes! Build the best UFO ever made but don't
forget to come back to Earth! We'd miss you!
Children entering kindergarten through grade 5 in the fall of 2019 may
register and participate in this crafty alien challenge – It’s Out of This
World. This event will take place on
Thursday, June 27th, from 6:30-7:30 PM. Sounds of ‘60’s Invasion’ will be wafting
through the walls to make this an upbeat and outta this world experience.
Stories will also be part of this fun little package.
This is a 'UNIVERSE OF STORIES' summer reading
event sponsored by The Friends of Kimball Library.
OUTTA THIS WORLD GAMING GALAXY: Come for all or part of
the time allotted for a galaxy of gaming choices. Youth will be divided up by
ages (younger children will not be playing teen rated games). Some games will
be happening in the children's room and more mature game options may be
happening in the meeting room. POSSIBILITIES may include Mario Kart, Rocket
League, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Wii Party, Wii Sports, and more. Join us
July 1st, July 17th, and August 7th from
6-7:30PM. Get your game on!
Please
register ages 9 and up or at a minimum entering grade 3 in the fall and choose
one, two, or all three sessions. Invite age-appropriate friends to register
with you. Who will be the STAR? This, too, is a 'Universe of Stories' summer
reading event sponsored by The Friends.
Anyone under 3 must be supervised by an adult in the room at all times due to small objects (marbles) as potential choking hazards.
Swing by anytime in the window to enjoy these STEM toys on July 3 between 3:30 and 5:30 PM. You are never too old for creative engineering time.
