Due to the rise in
Covid cases, in order to keep both the staff and our visitors safe, the Library
will temporarily return to Take Out Service as of Monday, December 14, 2020.
The Library will
be offering:
Borrowing via Take
Out ~ Take Out is easy! If you are
interested in borrowing a title, place a hold in the catalog or give us a call
(362-5234). We’ll check the items out to
you, wrap them and leave them on a table just inside the front door.
Streaming 24/7 ~
Check out the vast array of e-books, e-audio books and movies anytime through
out website.
Online programming
~ Fun, creative, meaningful programming is available for all ages over ZOOM.
Technical help ~
Are you stuck trying to attend a Zoom meeting or download a title? Give us a
call; we can help!
The building will
not be open for in-person visits, but the staff will be here during our regular
hours. Call 362-5234 for assistance or
for more information. Thank you for your
understanding during these challenging times.
NEW TEEN SERVICES: Teens can call ahead to pick up a grab
bag made just for them.
Mystery Bags will
contain two books handpicked by librarians, fuzzy socks, and hot cocoa mix. Thus
far Mystery Bag themes include Hamilton, murder mysteries, twisted fairy tales,
movie adaptations and action-packed adventure. (They’re all so good – you can’t
go wrong.)
Craft Bags will
hold everything you need to make this month’s craft: Transfer Art Candles!
Print art off the web or create your own freehand design and follow the
instructions included to transfer your art onto the candle. (Psst… makes a
great gift!) If you need any extra help with your craft, our Youth Librarian
will be available on Zoom on Dec 18th at 2:00pm to chat with anyone that wants
to drop in, but it is absolutely not required.
MINDFULNESS FOR CHALLENGING TIMES: Finding that current times are
challenging in your everyday life? Join
us for a 90-minute session. Register and
ZOOM with us. No experience is necessary.
