Learn how to make a beautiful fresh boxwood tree to enjoy for the holidays. The boxwood tree is an elegant design made out of boxwood and decorated with velvet ribbon, gold glass balls, berries and natural gypsophila. This popular centerpiece will last for months and is perfect for your home or for those who want a small holiday tree to enjoy. Felicia does not let anyone leave with a Charlie Brown tree—even those 'less crafty' will have a beautiful creation.

MORNING
BOOK CLUB: Join us for each month to discuss a book we've
chosen. Tell us what your thoughts are on the book and hear what others have to
say. It’s always a fun time with lively conversation
with old and new friends.
Please register if you would like to be part of our
reading group. Typically, we meet on Wednesdays at 10:15, but in November we
are going off script and meeting on Friday, November 19th, to avoid
the Thanksgiving commitments.
November's Book: The Paris Architect by Charles
Belfoure.
In 1942 Paris, architect Lucien Bernard accepts a
commission that will bring him a great deal of money—and maybe get him killed.
All he has to do is design a secret hiding place for a Jewish man, a space so
invisible that even the most determined German officer won't find it while
World War II rages on. He sorely needs the money, and outwitting the Nazis who
have occupied his beloved city is a challenge he can't resist.
Soon Lucien is hiding more souls and saving lives. But
when one of his hideouts fails horribly, and the problem of where to conceal a
Jew becomes much more personal, and he can no longer ignore what's at stake.
WALL
STREET JOURNAL ACCESS: We still have access to WSJ in case
you’ve tried logging in recently and have been perplexed as to why it seems
like you’ve been denied.
Log into our new Aspen catalog (Kimball.aspendiscovery.org)
with your patron barcode ID and password to access the link. Log into your
existing WSJ account, or create a new one if you don't already have one.
You'll have access for 3 days, at the end of which you
have to go back to step one. (I know, but I can’t change that part for you!)
Please note: The Wall Street Journal apps do not work
for library users, but the web version works very well with small screen
devices.
