Kimball Library News 8/6/18

It’s not too late, grab them while you can and before the summer passes you by!  Museum passes abound at the library, and within the Southern New Hampshire Cooperative there are additional offerings from Sandown and Plaistow that are up for borrowing with some caveats.

Check out the Currier Museum of Art, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium (not offered in July & August), NH State Park Pass, Peabody Essex Museum, Seacoast Science Center, Strawbery Banke, USS Constitution Museum, and Zoo New England.

When checking out the Seacoast Science Center and NH State Park pass, don’t forget to get a corresponding backpack.  The Seacoast backpack contains a compass with instructions, waterproof binoculars, and interesting reading materials such as: The ultimate guide to shells and beach life of the New England Coast, Birds of the Mid-Atlantic coast, North Atlantic whale watch, Freshwater fishes of Northeast, New Hampshire State Parks Map Guide, Bicycling NH’s Seacoast and to explore your own backyard an Atkinson Trail Map. Books, a back pack to fit your hiking supplies, and state park passes giving you access to NH’s best and most beautiful: what more could the outdoor adventurer want?
Also offered with the other libraries in the Co-op are the Butterfly Place, Children’s Museum of New Hampshire as well as duplicates of some of the Kimball passes for increased availability.  All three libraries will loan out museum passes to card holders that reside outside their town.  If you want to borrow a pass that is not from your home library, you can check on their website for availability.  Passes can be picked up in person one hour before closing the day before use.  Closing hours vary for each library.  Contact us with any questions you might have.
