IMAJINE
THAT museum will be making a visit to the library on Thursday, June 26th,
at 10:30 am to hold a little art class for ages 3-6 revolving around a summer
theme. We are delighted to have them and
are limiting registration to 10 children per the museums’ request. Please jump on the website or our phone
before it’s too late. Atkinson
residents will have priority seating.
BIG
TRUCK NIGHT was such a success last year that we are not only planning to have
this be an annual event, but we are planning to add more vehicles. Every age enjoys getting a chance to get up
close and personal with police cars, fire engines, and trucks of all
sizes. Come on over and bring the kids! All 'kids' are welcome to
view the vehicles, climb aboard, chat with the drivers and, in some cases, honk
the horn. Remember to bring the cameras!
Registration is required for all ages, so we have information readily available in case of inclement weather and/or change of plans. Non-resident friends are more than welcome.

A CONCERT
in the COURTYARD is not only happening on Thursday, June 19th, at
6:30pm with the Timberlane Community Band, but we also are having a concert on
Wednesday, July 2nd, at 6:30 pm.
Join us as we keep our courtyard dancing with Al Derben Trio, a
three-guitar jazz band featuring local New Hampshire artists Woody Allen on
guitar, Doug Bennett on guitar and vocals, and Bruce Derr on pedal steel
guitar.
Playing
mostly instrumental jazz standards from the 1940s, the band's nod to jazz
greats like Cole Porter and Nat King Cole, will give the evening a special
touch with a smooth swing feel.
This
entertaining program is free of charge and open to the public. This event
is sponsored by the Friends of the Kimball Library.
