MONDAY, Feb 26: Baby & Toddler Playtime @ 10:30 for ‘littles’: No Mother Goose today, just the fun of playing with peers and caretakers making connections!

T/ween Stitch-a-Bit @ 2:30 for t/weens ages 10+: If you already know how to knit or crochet, just bring your project.  If you are new to it all, please ask the youth services department what to bring.

Brown Bag Book Club @ 6:30 for grades 3 & 4:  Bring food in a sack or just come for our dessert and drink! This month we're reading Liar & Spy by Rebecca Stead. Liar & Spy is an inspired, often-funny story about destiny, goofy brilliance, and courage.

TUESDAY, Feb 27: Winter Animals in a Shoebox at 10:30 or 1:00 for grades K-5. Come make a shoebox home for the winter animals! We encourage younger children and adults to work together on this project. Older children can work alone. Choose forest or arctic animals to complete your display. You'll have lots of fun coloring, cutting, and pasting to make this beautiful diorama for your room! Please bring your own adult size shoebox when you come.

Party Animals @ 6:15: Ice breakers games, party animal games, food, and fun.  Bring a snack to share for 10+ hungry party animals.  Games chosen will depend on number of registrations. Chubby bunny contest!  All t/ween animals ages 10+ need to register ASAP to get in on the fun.

WEDNESDAY, Feb 28: S.T.E.M. Toys between 11:00 and 2:00 for ages 3+.  Join us for some time exploring with our STEM building toys. Whether you're a pro at science, technology, engineering and math or you are just being introduced, you'll love expanding your brain power with our magnetic tiles, brain flakes and marble runs.

Animals in Winter @6:30: This is an educational event presented by Squam Lakes Natural Science Center.  The topic for the evening is an 'Animals in Winter' program that features three animals- an hibernator, a migrator, and an active animal.  Squam Lakes Natural Science Center presents programs featuring live animals and are led by their expert naturalists. You won’t want to miss coming face to face with these live animals!

THURSDAY, Mar 1: Animal Puppetry @ 3:00 for grades 1-5.  Learn some puppeteer tricks. Practice and plan. Put on a puppet show!

*Build a Blessing Bag between 5:30 and 7:30 for all ages. This is a great opportunity to get your whole family involved in spreading some joy and happiness during these winter months. Games will be provided as well to enjoy after you build your blessing bag. Please feel free to drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 and plan to give yourself at least 15 minutes to put together a bag.

*This event REQUIRES registration by 2/22 so that we can purchase the correct amount of supplies. Registration will close at this date.*
