Kimball Library News 12/15/14

LOCAL AUTHOR: Local children's book author and illustrator, Noemi Muñoz, will be here to read her book 'Mrs. M & My Favorite Tree.'

About the book: The little town of Cranberry has suffered a great loss from a terrible storm from which they have not been able to recover. After the storm, a new teacher--Mrs. M--moves into town hoping to restore some joy to its sad inhabitants. But she soon realizes that she cannot do this alone. So Mrs. M begins to teach the children of Cranberry how each one of them can make a difference in their world. As they begin to imagine themselves doing great deeds of kindness, their teacher surprises them with a little something from her secret pocket...

Join us on January 6, 2015 @ 6:30pm for a reading, signing and activity with Noemi Muñoz. This is a great way to ring in the New Year with books!  All ages are welcome, but note that the book is picture book and geared for ages 5-10.   Registration is required so we know about the need for supplies for the activities.

Books will be for sale at this event for $15.  Cash or checks only, please.
