COLOR
PRINTER, COPY and SCANNER MACHINE: It’s a
new year and we’ve had the good fortune to obtain several new updated machines
for public use. Our dinosaur copier was laid
to rest and replaced with a very nice copier/scanner/practically makes dinner
for you kind of machine. As always –
these machines are available for public use.
The scanning is free, color copies are .50 per side while black and
white copies are .10 per side.
MAGIC
TREE HOUSE BOOK CLUB: Now is
your chance to join the Magic Tree House Book Club! You’ll get your very own
passport to travel back in time through this popular series. We’ll explore
history with Jack & Annie, discuss books & have fun activities &
snacks to share…
The club is for 1st & 2nd graders. Registration is
required and books are available in the children’s room. This group starts in January, and it will
continue subsequently on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
We’ll begin by meeting Jack & Annie on Thursday, January
28th, from 4:30-5:30pm to discuss and learn of the mysterious tree house that
carries them to the prehistoric past!. The selection is ‘Dinosaurs Before Dark’
by Mary Pope Osborne. It is the 1st book in the series. Get ready for adventure
as we travel in time.
JACK
FROST TEEN VOLUNTEERS: Atkinson teenagers in need of *community service hours need to
register in advance. Your tasks will
include set-up, clean-up, assisting or running games, and/or prize
distribution. You need to sign up on the
link below AND talk to Kathy Watson. You
may email her at kwatson@kimballlibrary.com or call the library at 603
362-5234. Leave a message if she is not
available. Hours are 10am-3pm or
negotiable. A few Friday evening hours
are also possible.
