Now it’s back to school and you may suddenly be wondering what
to do with the littles left behind.
Don’t you worry, we have plans for the babies, toddlers, and preschool
age kiddos in your life.
Join us by registering for some of the preschool classes
below. We require registration so we can
adequately be equipped by space size and supplies. If you sign up, we consider you registered
for the academic school year with some exceptions for holidays and such. Please send us an email or call if you cannot
attend to help with our preparation.
MOTHER
GOOSE ON THE LOOSE: Mother Goose on the Loose is a fun-filled thirty
minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical
instruments, and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers.
Infants through age 2+ with their caregivers are invited to join us on Mondays
at 10:30am for repetition and rhymes.
Please feel welcome to stay after the session to allow for playtime and
socializing for all ages.
BITTY
BOOKS: Children ages 2-3+ with their caregivers are invited to join
us on Tuesdays at 10:15am for itty bitty stories, rhymes, finger plays or
songs, and a simple craft. This is a
simplified story time for the children who are already two years of age. It’s also a good fit for older children who
have a hard time attending to more than one story per class.
KIDDIE LIT: Crafts,
music, new friends and adventures into literacy are found during these classes.
These classes meet on Tuesday at 11:30am, or Fridays at either 10:15 or
11:30am. Most often multiple books are
read and an accompanying activities are provided to go along with the theme. Caretakers may stay and listen or relax in
another part of the library.
