CELEBRATING QUEEN BEES OF AMERICAN BLUES: For Women’s History Month we will be celebrating “Queen Bees” of American Blues on Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Baza – a Nashua based duo will present an evening of song and stories celebrating these women and their music.  Baza features Doug Philbrook, guitar & vocals and Geof Goodell, harmonica and vocals – specializing in 1920s – 1940s Delta and Piedmont blues and original songs. They are the 2017 winners of the Granite State Blues Challenge.

Come hear the music of Memphis Minnie, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith and others who played a starring role in this truly unique American Roots Music.

Please register as soon as possible and join us! Light refreshments will be served.

BROWN BAG BOOK CLUB: It's time for our book club for grades 3 & 4, and this month's book puts a bit of joy into your reading!

This month we're reading 'Julia Gillian (and the Quest for Joy)'.  Ten-year-old Julia Gillian's best friend is keeping secrets, their beloved lunch lady was replaced by a tyrant, and trumpet lessons prove difficult, making it hard for her to follow the music teacher's advice to 'look for the joy’.

Bring food in a sack or just come for our dessert and drink. We meet the 3rd Monday of every month.  This month’s meeting is on Monday, March 19th, at 6:30pm.  We have books in the Children’s Room waiting for your child to check out.  Come soon so they will have time to read it all.

UPCOMING TUESDAY AFTERNOON MOVIES: ‘The Shape of Water’ on March 20, ‘I, Tonya’ on March 27, ‘The Greatest Showman’ on April 3, and ‘Lady Bird’ on April 10.  Movies are subject to change so please check our website or give us a call.

Movie start promptly at 1pm and are served with a free smile and popcorn.
