REAL WORLD STEM ROCKS: We will welcome representatives from Lewis Builders on Tuesday, July 10th at 6:30 PM in a unique demonstration of the equipment they use to achieve outcomes in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Watch STEM come to life with a demonstration of a real video drone. Learn the process of planning and building a new housing development. See models of future STEM jobs and talk with the experts yourself!
All ages are welcome, but please note that this program will not be designed to engage our youngest patrons.  Please register on our website or give us a call to reserve your spot for this special evening.

T/WEEN BOOK TALKS ROCK: Join us as we talk together about 'Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie' by Jordan Sonnenblick' and rock out to this book.  Conversation, candy, and chillin'. This is a great read for middle and high school ages.  Copies of this book are available at the main desk.

Please register t/weens entering grades 5 and up in the Fall of 2018 for this Wednesday, July 11th event that will take place at 6:30 PM.

‘Thirteen-year-old Steven has a totally normal life: he plays drums in the All-Star Jazz band, has a crush on the hottest girl in the school, and is constantly annoyed by his five-year-old brother, Jeffrey. But when Jeffrey is diagnosed with leukemia, Steven's world is turned upside down. He is forced to deal with his brother's illness and his parents' attempts to keep the family in one piece. Salted with humor and peppered with devastating realities, ‘Drums, Girls, And Dangerous Pie’ is a heartwarming journey through a year in the life of a family in crisis’.

COME and rock out together with other tweens and teens. Book talks rock!
