Summer fun with
events, concerts, and in person visits at the Library are still the best place
to be!
BOARD BOP— (Virtual Board Games for Grades
1-5): Join us on ZOOM to
hang out with friends and play a different fun game each week. Mondays at 5:00 PM will be the happening place to be
starting in August. We'll be
playing Charades, Pictionary, Bingo, and more! This friendly non-competitive
fun is slated for kids in grades 1-5.
Registration is
required to play. The Zoom link will be emailed to you 1 day prior and will
mention any at-home materials you might need to have with you.
VIRTUAL READERS THEATER (Grades 2-5): Join us on ZOOM in August on Tuesdays at

Right in your own home! What could be more fun than that? If you’ve been
reading to the Listening Fairy you’ve already had lots of practice, but even if
you haven’t you can still sign up for this event and/or register for the
Listening Fairy on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM.
We have the plays
and will email the script to you so you can practice your part. It’s all in
good fun and maybe this will be your start toward a future on Broadway! This is
not for reluctant readers so come on, sign up now. Mrs. Birr will coach you to
have your best reading performance ever. Registration is required so you can
have the scripts and Zoom link sent to you.
HUNGRYTOWN VIRTUAL CONCERT: Join us on Thursday, August 13th,
at 6:00 PM on Facebook LIVE to hear the vibe of Hungrytown. (You do not need FB
to listen in. You can view from our FB page on our website.) Once again, the
Friends of Kimball Library have sponsored yet another great concert for us!
After more than
fifteen years of world-wide touring and three album releases, Rebecca Hall and
Ken Anderson--otherwise known as the folk duo Hungrytown--have earned a
reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting. The couple
spends half of each year on the road in North America, Europe and New Zealand.
Their latest album made the top 10 on the American Folk DJ charts, and at least
14 'Best of the Year' lists. Register
and receive a reminder of this upcoming performance.
