Kimball Library News 1/29/13

TRSD is having their vacation week and we’ve got activities for the young people in your life.  Except for Mother Goose on the Loose, our typical preschool story times have been suspended to offer events for the grade school set that often doesn’t have a chance to come to the library.  Please take a look below at what is happening and for what age groups.  All classes require registration with the exception of Legos and PJ Peeps.
·
Mother Goose On the Loose~ Monday, February 25, 10:30-11am: Infants through age 2 with their caregivers are invited to join us for simple stories, rhymes, finger plays, and songs.  This is non-stop action for 30 minutes.  Register before you come.  Please feel welcome to stay after the session to allow for playtime and socializing for all ages.
·
Brown Bag Book Club~ Monday, February 25, 5:30-6:30pm: Books are available for grades 2-4 at the children's desk for you to pick up in plenty of time for reading. Registration is required.  We always provide the dessert and drinks while we talk about the book. Bring your dinner in a bag and give us a try.  February's book is Andrew Lost in the Kitchen by J.C. Greenburg.
·
Legos, More Legos~ Tuesday, February 26, 11am-1pm: Come build skyscrapers, mystery scenes, or something creative with our Legos or Duplo blocks. See how clever you can be! This activity is perfect for ages 4 and up.
