TIME TO
MAKE THE BRACELETS: Let your friends see the real you with this
great bangled bracelet! You can wear it with your jeans or any outfit. It will
be custom made by you with just paperclips, buttons, and bells! You'll love
making it and wearing it! Make one for
yourself and your BFF.
This activity is being held in the children’s room on
Saturday, September 19th, from 11am to noon. Come on by after your fall sport or your
morning doughnut run and get blinged up!

FEASTING FROM LITERATURE--DISCUSSION & COOKING
DEMONSTRATION WITH LIZ BARBOUR: Think about all the times you have been
engrossed in the pages of a novel. You join the characters and become a part of
the scene, the setting and all that is taking place. You can be lost in your
novel for hours when the author inserts a snack, a meal, or a culinary
description that starts your mouth watering. Wouldn’t you love to know what the
characters are tasting? Join ‘The Creative Feast’s’ Liz Barbour for a delicious
exploration of her favorite recipes discovered hidden in novels she has read.
Following
Liz’s discussion will be a cooking demonstration and sampling of two delicious
recipes. Add in Liz's easy cooking technique tips and you are on your way to
creating great meals you and your family will enjoy.
Liz Barbour
has been cooking professionally in the Boston area since 1992 and started Liz
Barbour’s Creative Feast in 2004. Liz
built her cooking career in a variety of Boston's catering and restaurant
settings. After starting her family, Liz
reentered the food world as an instructor, sharing her professional experiences
and knowledge with her students and clients.
Liz's cooking demonstrations and recipes are featured in various
publications including NH Magazine, Nashua Telegraph, and The Hippo. Liza has been featured on NH Chronicle and
appears regularly on WMUR Channel 9's 'Cooks Corner'.
Registration
is required for this event being held on Wednesday, September 30th,
from 6:30-8pm. Atkinson residents will
be given first priority. Non-residents
are welcome to register on starting September 22nd.
