JOHN F KENNEDY LIBRARY AND MUSEUM:
The
John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of
our nation's thirty-fifth president and to all those who through the art of
politics seek a new and better world.
Located
on a ten-acre park, overlooking the sea that he loved and the city that
launched him to greatness, the Library stands as a vibrant tribute to the life
and times of John F. Kennedy.
Tour the
museum which portrays the life, leadership, and legacy of President Kennedy,
conveys his enthusiasm for politics and public service, and illustrates the
nature of the office of the President.
Students
and scholars can also arrange to conduct research using the collection of
historical materials chronicling mid-20th century politics and the life and
administration of John F. Kennedy.
The pass
allows two admissions each day seven days a week. Residents pay a co-pay of
$3.00 at time of admission. This pass is
for general museum admission only and does not apply to admission for any
special exhibition where additional admission fees may apply. Children twelve
and under always are free.
CAMPING AT KIMBALL: Grades
3-5 are encouraged to register for an exciting camping adventure that that will
be happening on Thursday, November 10th, at 6:30pm at the Kimball
Library!
Read
books about camping, visit our camping tent, enjoy a S'MORES snack, and
participate in camping games and activities. This event is sure to be worth the
'hike' over to 5 Academy Avenue.
Please
bring a small sleeping bag or blanket and a book you can read by yourself for
comfortable independent reading.
HOLIDAY HOURS: We will
be closed on November 11th for Veteran’s Day and on November 24
& 45 as a Thanksgiving hiatus. We
will be open on Saturday the 26th.
