Kimball Library News 1/16/22

For individuals planning to utilize the Kimball Library passes to visit museums and galleries in Boston, prior to making a museum reservation, we encourage individuals to visit the museum website regarding the ‘City of Boston’s B Together’ vaccine requirement which is effective: January 15, 2022.  Individuals may also visit: https://content.boston.gov/departments/mayors-office/introducing-b-together for more information.

BEHIND-THE-SCENES TOUR OF THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS HALL OF FAME:  Attention New England Patriots fans! Join Patriots Hall of Fame staff for a live virtual tour of the Hall of Fame. Get an inside look at some of their unique artifacts! Bring your questions as an interactive Q&A session will follow. This virtual event is taking place on Tuesday, February 1, at 7:00 PM.

About the Patriots Hall of Fame: The Kraft family’s investment in The Patriots Hall of Fame presented by Raytheon Technologies accomplishes its goal of giving Patriots fans a unique, technologically advanced venue to relive and celebrate great moments and great players. The Hall is a modern “museum” that takes guests through Patriots and New England football history in a cutting-edge way, utilizing amazing video and audio to tap into fans’ emotions in a manner never before seen in a sports museum. It also works to freshen the experience with new exhibits and renovations.

This Zoom event is sponsored by the Tewksbury Public Library and presented in collaboration with libraries throughout the Merrimack Valley and the Kimball Library.

THE EXTRAORDINARY STORY OF THE TUSKEGEE AIRMEN: Learn the story of how a group of black men who were once considered of little value to the World War II war effort, proved they could take down enemy aircraft abroad and racial barriers at home. This opportunity is led by Jeffrey Urbin, Education Specialist at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum.

SPIRITUAL PET COMMUNICATION with PATTI ANASTASIA, RN and PET COMMUNICATOR : Join us on Thursday, February 17, at 6:00 PM for a night of exploration into some ways you can develop a Spiritual connection and better communication with your pet. You can expect to learn three tools you can use to talk with your animals and provide comfort and healing for them. Our pets have messages for us. Would you like to understand what they are trying to tell you?
