The
summer reading saga lives on. Prizes are
being doled out to the ‘Dig Into Reading’ participants and 20 teens have
already won gift cards for ice cream, iTunes, and UNO’s appetizers for being ‘Beneath
the Surface’ participants. There is
still time to play and win. The last day
for teens to submit tickets to the raffle jar is August 2. They need 1000 tickets to get Kathy Watson,
the Youth Services Director, to have a hideous hairstyle and color from August
8-31. Can the teens pull it off again
this year?
Spaces
remain at the time of writing this article in the following events: ‘‘We DIG
Fairy Frolics’ for kindergarten through grade 5 on July 25 (registration
required), ‘Beneath the Surface’ Jewelry Making for grades 5-12 on July 31
(registration required), and the summer reading finale for ice cream sundaes with
the Squeezebox Stompers on August 8.
Please check online or give us a call for more details.

Attention
all stargazers, now is your chance to see the night sky up close from your own

comes with an instructional manual and pocket guide to the constellations. The Atkinson Women’s Civic Club generously
purchased this gift for the library from the New Hampshire Astronomical Society
Library Telescope Program. Come in and
‘scope’ it out!
