MUSEUM PASSES: Think ahead regarding winter break or free weekends and make sure you seize the opportunity to put a museum pass on hold to use.  Kimball Library offers the Currier Museum of Art, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, Peabody Essex Museum, Strawbery Banke, USS Constitution, Zoo New England, and MORE.   Look at the schedule with your family now and decide where to visit soon.

This special exhibit runs now until January 6th.

Did you know Kimball Library patrons can check out museum passes from the Plaistow and Sandown public libraries?  However, patrons cannot reserve museum passes from these libraries ahead of time.  Kimball Library patrons can pick-up passes in-person from the libraries in Plaistow and Sandown in the last hour before closing on the day before intended use.  Visit our partner libraries' websites and call them to see which passes they have available:

COOKIE SWAP: The Healthy Cookbook Club has made a last minute change to the December 17th agenda.  This month they will take on a new 'Healthy Twist' when the group invites all to a Holiday Cookie Swap.

There is a participation challenge with this cookie swap in that each person must bring:  At least 2 dozen cookies, bake bars, scones or bread sliced for 2 dozen. The challenge is that the treats must be a healthy version. Recipes may be gathered from one of our healthy cookbooks, magazines or Overdrive & Hoopla magazines online. Bring cookies in a decorative container to display. Bring a 2nd container to take home goodies.  Provide a copy of the recipe to share.  If you have any questions, please give Lois a call at 603-362-5234.
