Kimball Library News 8/17/2020

We are so appreciative of all our patrons taking a token when they enter the building, keeping their masks on and up, dropping off returns in the outside the building drop slots, and keeping social distance when you have your purposeful Library visits.  Kudos to the greatest patrons EVER!

FAIRY HOUSE CONTEST (FAMILY FUN): Gather your materials to craft your very own Fairy House!

Fairies like to live in little homes made of natural things you'd find outside like bark, sticks, leaves, flowers, and stones. And there are all kinds of fairies who live in all kinds of homes. Think about what materials you can find outside or in your house and dream up a gorgeous fairy house.

Bring all materials to your computer before the contest. Once we all meet up on Zoom, we'll share brief introductions and then all participants will have 20 minutes to assemble and decorate their fairy house. All participants will receive an award in the mail.

Get creative! Get involved! Have fun! (And keep in mind that while this is a contest, it is not meant to be highly competitive.)

Our ZOOM link will be emailed to all registered participants the day prior to the event. This fairy fun contest will be held on Wednesday, August 26th, at 6:30 PM. Get your game on!

BRACELETS GALORE (GRADES K-5): Join us on Thursday, August 27th, at 4:00 PM on ZOOM. Are the your kids looking for a new bracelet to wear this summer? Look no further because you're at the right place!

Mrs. Birr is leading the charge making bracelets with plastic straws and you'll love how they turn out!

Register now for this program and we'll have your supplies waiting for you to pick up at the library, and then just join us on Zoom and we'll make them together. We will have our own bracelet fashion show. Register ASAP and have the kid’s friends register, too.

This is the time to get help and to learn more about your devices, get troubleshooting assistance, learn how to use your device(s), and discover the latest library apps, news, and online services!

Please register for an appointment. Do you have questions regarding what you should bring? Ask for Kathy Watson at (603) 362-5234 or email kwatson@kimballlibrary.com. (These tutorials are for resident card holders in good standing only, please.)
