Kimball Library News 5/20/13

Our preschool and baby spring session classes are winding down while summer reading is winding up.  Please note that the following spring sessions will end the second week of June—Mother Goose on the Loose, Bitty Books, and the Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Kiddie Lit classes as well.  So we won’t lose our touch with our preschool gang and babies over the summer, we’ll be offering one section of each class, and even if you are in the spring session you need to re-enroll for summer if you’d like to participate.  Please send us an email or call if you cannot attend.  You may be taking a space away from someone else. 

Summer Mother Goose on the Loose is for infants through age 2 and will meet on Mondays for thirty minutes starting at 10:30am on June 17th.  The children with their caregivers are invited to join us for simple stories, rhymes, finger plays, and songs.  Please feel welcome to stay after the session to allow for playtime and socializing for all ages.  If you sign up, we consider you registered for the entire session.  Registration is open now.

Summer Bitty Books will be held on Tuesdays from 10:15-11:00am.  The first class will be on July 2^nd.  Children ages 2-3 with their caregivers are invited to join Mrs. Birr for itty bitty stories, rhymes, finger plays or songs, and a simple craft.  If you sign up, we consider you registered for the entire session.  Registration is open now.

Summer Kiddie Lit will be held on Fridays from 10:15-11:00am The first class will be on July 5^th.  Children ages 3-6 with their caregivers are invited to join us.  Crafts, music, new friends and adventures into literacy are found during these classes.   Try this class time with Miss Celeste!  If you sign up, we consider you registered for the entire session.  Registration is open now.

Please ‘note’ that we are having a ‘Concert in the Courtyard’ that will be performed by the Timberlane Community Band on Thursday, June 20^th, from 6:30-8pm.  The concert will take place in the library courtyard at 5 Academy Ave, Atkinson, NH.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music!  For more information you can contact the Kimball Library at 603 362-5234.  *If there is a chance of rain, the TCB will make a decision by 4:00 PM to cancel the show.
