UNMASK
CHOCOLATE for T/WEENS: Learn which chemicals elicit biochemical
reactions in the human brain, making chocolate the perfect drug. During the
presentation, you will also learn how to taste chocolate for quality and some
of the history of chocolate. Since most everyone loves chocolate, teens will be
interested to know why it’s good for them, how much is healthy, and what kinds
they should eat. Mike’s presentations include
magic tricks! BONUS: There will be chocolate
fountains to dip from!
REGISTRATION IS
REQUIRED and this event is for ages 10-19 only.
It takes place on Wednesday, July 29th, at 6:30pm. We expect each t/ween to bring one type of
'dipper' for the fountain in quantities of 15 or more. Example of
dippers----marshmallows, hulled strawberries, bite-sized fruits like cantaloupe
or honey dew melon, teddy grahams, oreos, nilla wafers, sponge cake, granola
bars, biscotti, rice krispie treats,
grapes, lady fingers, orange segments.
USE YOUR IMAGINATION. Please remember that the item you bring should be
in dipping size before you arrive. Thank
you!

EVERY
VILLAIN HAS A STORY: Muahahahahaha! Prepare your evil laughs and twirl your
mustaches. It's the time of the
VILLAINS!
Come join us to create your own villain, mustache and all.
Decide exactly what your villain's story is and why he or she is
eviiiiiiiil. Why did they become the bad
guy? Did they just really want a castle
of their own or are they as maniacal as they seem? You decide. Now remember, most villains don't set out to
be the bad guy. We'll talk about
infamous villains and read about their side of the story. After all, every villain is the hero in their
own story!
Register grades K-5 for Thursday, July 30, from 6:30-7:30pm to
be part of this villainous evening.
SUPER
DOGS AND WHAT THEY DO: What the dog nose! Think of all the
Superdogs: Balto, Super Dog, RinTinTin, Bolt, Deputy Dawg, Underdog, Lassie,
Krypto. Certainly they’re dogs to remember as heroes! Hear about the dogs
and make a mini-superhero dog puppet with his own cape.
Register grades K-5 for Monday, August 3rd, from 6:30-7:30pm
to be part of this super dog event.
